Close to their Munich head office and the Olympic Park the BMW Group is creating a brand experience and car construction centre.

Why was Glutz awarded?

The general building description and the fittings specifcations list was published in February 2005. The requirement was for stainless steel fittings with a satin finish. The products were to be delivered in September 2007 and BMW World was due for completion by 1. December 2007. The project application for the development of special lever handles and plates for BMW World was approved in September 2005. The rapid and flexible handling of the object enquiry and the readiness to satisfy special wishes were decisive factors in ensuring that Glutz received the order for developing these special fittings.

Used Glutz products

Installed were special fittings consisting of lever handles 5092 in combination with long plate series 6120 – all in satin stainless steel.
